MDEQ Extends Its Deadline
The MDEQ was scheduled to give its decision on Celery Pond today. We’ve heard that the extension has been moved to mid-June. According to Andrew Lersten of the SH Tribune, the new deadline is on June 17th.
There are serious issues to consider. As promised, Celery Pond Advocates did submit a Wetland Analysis to the MDEQ late last week.
Monday, June 11th, the Council will review the 7 proposals that are to be presented to the public, with 45 minutes being given to each presentation for detailed description and Q & A. This will be televised as well as open to the public to attend, although the public will not be able to ask questions until the public hearing, scheduled for July 9th.
